I’m so glad you clicked on this page. It’s so important that you get to know your wedding planner. We will be spending a good amount of time together, planning the most important day of your life so it is important that we make a connection. 

Here is a little bit about me…  

You may notice an accent once we speak. I was born and raised in Brazil  but now call Los  Angeles home . I speak English, Portuguese and Spanish. I’m originally from Brazil, where I coordinated many weddings and events in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Maceió.

After a big move to the United States I decided to make my passion a career. I have certification in both Wedding and Event Planning from Cal State Dominguez Hills and Floral Design from Golden West College.

These certifications paired with hands-on experience and eye for design give me a unique set of skills that make every wedding a perfect production. 

I now reside in Orange County with my beloved dog Belo and husband Tom. I am a proud mother to Gustavo, my son.

In addition to Josy’s Events I also own A Beautiful California Florist, located in Long Beach California where I create custom floral pieces and designs for my clients.
